Sweet snacks are known to be high in sugars (and calories). Our product Lesys™ Crystalline Maltitol is a polyol developed to replace sugar. Another solution to replace the bulk of sugar are soluble fibres. The disadvantage of these solutions is that they don’t add sweetness and you need high intensity sweeteners to bring the taste back. Those sweeteners usually have an unwanted off-taste. This off-taste can be masked with a low dosage of AJIREX™NH, to give a genuine sweetness experience.
